Bree Weaver

Expert Bio

Bree Weaver is an assistant professor of clinical medicine with the Indiana University School of Medicine. She focused her research early in her career on the natural history of oral HPV infection, HPV infection in adolescent males and the behavioral correlates of STI acquisition in adolescents. She then transitioned to focus on clinical practice.

She served as the clinical director of Infectious Diseases at Eskenazi Health from 2013 to 2021, when she was chosen to be the chief of medicine at Eskenazi Health and the Joseph J. Mamlin Scholar. She serves as the medical director of the Midwest AIDS Training and Education Center Indiana. Her clinical practice consists of inpatient and outpatient ID consults as well as care of children and adults living with HIV.
