Expert Bio

Lynn Gilman is a clinical assistant professor in the School of Education. Her work focuses on training and supervision of graduate students in counseling psychology. She also serves as program director for the counseling psychology doctoral program and as director of the Center for Human Growth, the departmental training clinic for the counseling psychology and counselor education programs at IU.

The clinic offers adult outpatient mental health services to the Bloomington community, provided by graduate students under the close supervision of licensed faculty. Gilman’s teaching, research and professional affiliations are focused on competency-based training and supervision of counseling students.
