Laura Foster is an associate professor of gender studies at Indiana University Bloomington, with affiliate appointments in African studies and the IU Maurer School of Law. She is also a senior researcher with the Intellectual Property Unit at the University of Cape Town. Her research focuses on how science, technology and data relate to questions of gender, race and sexuality.
