Valerie Yeager

Expert Bio

Valerie Yeager is an associate professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management. While working on her doctorate, she was a Lister Hill Policy Fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Division of Global Migration and Quarantine. Before joining the Fairbanks School of Public Health, she was an assistant professor at Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans. Yeager has a master’s and a doctorate in public health from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master’s in philosophy from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
