Ali Jafari

Expert Bio

Ali Jafari is considered one of the global pioneers in envisioning and developing new e-learning systems and pedagogical methods. He is well known for his research and entrepreneurship in information technology, more specifically in the development of a series of learning management systems (LMS). He is a professor of computer and information technology in the School of Engineering and Technology and director of the CyberLab at IUPUI.

Jafari earned his Bachelor of Science in business administration from the University of Isfahan, Iran, before moving to the United States to pursue a master’s in media technology at the University of Wisconsin. He completed his doctoral studies in telecommunications and mass communication at Indiana University in Bloomington.
