Expert Bio
Bill Stanczykiewicz serves as the senior assistant dean for external relations and clinical associate professor in the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. His responsibilities include serving as director of The Fund Raising School as well as on the school’s academic faculty. In this role, he teaches fundraising skills to nonprofits around the U.S. and around the world. He also teaches bachelor’s and master’s courses on fundraising and philanthropic leadership.
Stanczykiewicz’s responsibilities also include overseeing fundraising for the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. He previously served for 17 years as the CEO of a statewide nonprofit organization, and his volunteer activities have included board service and fundraising for local, regional and national nonprofit organizations.
He earned his Ed.D. in interdisciplinary leadership from Creighton University, his Master of Arts in public administration (nonprofit leadership) from George Mason University and his Bachelor of Arts in journalism from Northwestern University.
