Expert Bio

George Mohler is an associate professor in the Department of Computer and Information Science at IUPUI. He builds algorithms and software tools to study patterns in social systems, estimate the probability of societally harmful events and help smart cities allocate resources in response. He holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from U.C. Santa Barbara and a B.S. in mathematics from Indiana University Bloomington.
