Expert Bio

Susan Zinner is a professor in the School of Public & Environmental Affairs, where she teaches graduate and undergraduate health-concentration students. Her classes include administrative law, administrative ethics, bioethics, death and dying, health law, health disparities, and the undergraduate health capstone class. Her published work focuses primarily on bioethics, including pediatric bioethics, cognitive development and its impact on decision-making and end-of-life issues. Zinner was the faculty president 2016-20.
