Dr. Tyler Heavin is an emergency medicine resident. He serves as an assistant medical director at Lifeline and an EMS Track Chief for his residency. He is interested in health care advocacy and serves through his work with the Indiana State Medical Association; he is also interested in emergency medical services and paramedic education.
He is the immediate past president of the Resident and Fellow Society and a current board member of the Indiana State Medical Association.
Heavin was a 2009 Indiana Lilly Scholar. He obtained his undergraduate education at Franklin College and the University of Oxford and completed his medical training at the IU School of Medicine, where he graduated with Gold Humanism and Alpha Omega Alpha honors.
