Vivek Amin is an assistant professor in the Department of Physics at IU Indianapolis. His group theoretically investigates using the spin and associated magnetic moment of electrons to create new electronic, or “spintronic,” devices, with applications to magnetic memories and hardware implementations of artificial intelligence.
