Expert Bio
Andrea D. Janota is the interim director of the ECHO Center and Center for Public Health Practice at the IU Richard M. Fairbanks School of Public Health at IU Indianapolis. Using the Project ECHO model, Janota develops educational programs addressing the most pressing medical and public health needs in Indiana.
She manages projects such as the Hepatitis C, LGBTQ+, HIV, COVID-19 Response, and Indiana Peer Education Program ECHOs. She is also an adjunct faculty member with the Department of Epidemiology and a registered yoga instructor.
Janota received her MPH from Boston University with a concentration in global health and dedicated a year of service through AmeriCorps in Massachusetts.
