Daniel Sacks is an assistant professor of business economics and public policy at the IU Kelley School of Business, where he studies the intended and unintended consequences of social insurance programs, with a focus on Social Security and health insurance. He recently researched the effect of the ACA’s individual mandate on insurance coverage as well as Health Insurance Marketplaces. He joined the Kelley School’s faculty after completing his doctorate at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
