Expert Bio

Brian Vander Schee is a clinical associate professor of marketing in the IU Kelley School of Business in Bloomington.

He has published his research in Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing, Journal for Marketing of Higher Education, Journal of Marketing Education, Journal of Education for Business and Active Learning in Higher Education, among others. He has received national teaching and research awards, including the American Marketing Association’s Summer Educators’ Conference Best Paper Award in Marketing Education and Teaching, the Marketing Educators Association Conference Best Paper Award and the AMS Outstanding Marketing Teacher and SMA Distinguished Teacher awards.

Vander Schee served as editor of Marketing Education Review. He also served as the president of the American Marketing Association Collegiate Chapters Council and president of the Marketing Management Association. He received his DBA in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Ph.D in higher education administration from the University of Connecticut.
