Expert Bio
Daniel Hickey is a professor with the Learning Sciences Program and a research scientist with the Center for Research on Learning and Technology at the Indiana University School of Education. He studies new approaches to fostering, assessing, motivating and recognizing learning, mostly in online settings and using situative theories and design-based methods.
His research has been funded by the MacArthur Foundation, National Science Foundation, Google, the U.S. Department of Education and Indiana University.
