Expert Bio

Christian Rogers is an associate professor in computer graphics technology in the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology at IUPUI. He is also a faculty fellow focused in innovation with the Institute for Engaged Learning at IUPUI. He teaches courses in the fundamentals of video production to advanced motion and themed entertainment design and conducts research in the area of experiential learning, innovation education and the use of pervasive technology in educational space.

His industry experience is diverse, with over 13 years in the visual communications field, having worked for many different organizations and institutions. Rogers received his Bachelor of Science in visual communications technology and a Master of Education in career and technology education at Bowling Green State University, and then a Ph.D. at the University of Toledo in the field of educational technology with a focus in media production.

While earning his Ph.D., he was a lecturer and academic advisor in the Visual Communication Technology program at BGSU, teaching courses in cross-media integration and overseeing the video production track.
