Expert Bio
Robert Weissbach received his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Arizona State University. Prior to pursuing doctoral studies, he worked on the design and construction of submarine turbine generator sets for General Dynamics Electric Boat Division. He spent 18 years as a faculty member at Penn State Behrend before becoming chair of the Department of Engineering Technology at IUPUI in 2016. Weissbach is a senior member of IEEE and is a registered engineer in Pennsylvania.
