Expert Bio
Lingxi Li has been with IUPUI since August 2008, where he is currently an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering. Li’s current research focuses on the modeling, analysis, control and optimization of complex systems; intelligent transportation systems; connected and automated vehicles; intelligent vehicles; active safety systems; and human-machine interaction.
Li has received a number of awards including three conference best/remarkable paper awards, outstanding contributions award, outstanding editorial service award and university research/teaching awards. He is currently serving as an associate editor for four IEEE Transactions/Journals and the vice president of the IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Society.
Li received a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2008. He has authored/co-authored one book and 100-plus research articles in refereed journals and conferences and received two U.S. patents.
