Expert Bio

Dr. Alan Ladd is professor of surgery in the Division of Pediatric Surgery at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health. He is most active in the clinical realm of intestinal malabsorption from short gut syndrome and congenital anomalies of the intestine and lung, as well as being active in the oversight of the medical school curriculum at the IU School of Medicine.

He is a native Hoosier and received all of his medical training through the Indiana University School of Medicine.
