Douglas Sanders is paper conservator at IU Bloomington Libraries, working in the field of conservation of library, archive and museum collections. While most of his work focuses on post-1850 paper-based collections, he has research interests in the materials and techniques used by artists, printers and publishers of previous eras, including those of East Asian and Islamic cultures.
