Alan Ewert

Expert Bio
Alan Ewert is a Distinguished and Titled Professor Emeritus at Indiana University. He also holds the Patricia and Joel Meier Endowed Chair in Outdoor Leadership and served as the chair for the Department of Environmental Health in Indiana University’s School of Public Health-Bloomington.
Ewert served in the USDA Forest Service as project leader and supervisory research social Scientist and branch chief of Recreation, Wilderness and Urban Forestry Research in Washington, D.C. His research interests and expertise include human health and natural environments, natural resources and the human dimension, resilience, and adventure education.
