Expert Bio
Jared Allsop is a clinical assistant professor for the Department of Health & Wellness Design and a Mosaic Fellow, a universitywide initiative that supports active learning at IU through instructional support, research, collaborations and classroom design. As a Mosaic Fellow, Allsop plans to explore ways to increase student comprehension and real-world application through active learning. His research interests focus on exploring the effects of recreation on the lives of individuals with disabilities and chronic illness, particularly looking at the social effects that stem from recreational opportunities.
