Expert Bio
Beth Tyler is the associate vice chancellor for student affairs and dean of students at IU Northwest, where she strives to support students during times of crisis, complexity or emergency and challenge them to exercise personal responsibility and practice ethical decision-making. As the primary administrator of the IU Code of Conduct and the chairperson of the Behavior Consultation Team, she plays a key role in ensuring that student behavior does not interfere with the educational mission of the university. Tyler chairs the campus Sexual Violence Prevention and Awareness Task Force and sits on the Lake County Sexual Assault Response Team.
