Expert Bio

Caving expert Anmar Mirza is a risk management accident training and special projects coordinator for Recreational Sports at Indiana University Bloomington; he also assists with EMT classes in the School of Public Health-Bloomington. Mirza volunteers as the national coordinator of the National Cave Rescue Commission and has over 30 years of experience as a cave rescuer and EMT.

He is the property manager for the Richard Blenz Nature Preserve, which is owned by the National Speleological Society and contains Buckner Cave, where he caves weekly in addition to his other caving.
