Supplies for the front lines

To address the need for special protective gear around the state, IU has donated N95 masks and other PPE to help front-line responders, including items stockpiled during the H1N1 outbreak.

Be counted

Staff, faculty and students are encouraged to fill out the 2020 census. Full participation in the census is required by law and is critically important to the health of a community.

'An obligation to give'

Meet IU South Bend junior Mya Perry, who helped start a collective supporting South Bend residents affected by COVID-19. The group offers things like grocery and meal delivery, free tutoring, dog walking, handyman work and translation services.

Repurposed residences

IU is working closely with hospitals in Indianapolis and Bloomington to make its residence halls available as respite space for doctors, nurses and others.

New lines of support

IU has established new emergency support options for students on all campuses. Funds will provide aid to students facing unforeseen financial distress, including hardships caused by the pandemic.
