Equity and inclusion

"We must do much more, and we must take yet more action," IU President Michael A. McRobbie told the Board of Trustees during Friday's virtual meeting. He announced five areas in which IU will make changes to further diversity and inclusion.

New leadership

The trustees approved appointments for Karen Ferguson Fuson as vice president for communications and marketing, and Rob Lowden as vice president for IT and chief information officer.

Retirement changes

Changes were approved to the university's supplemental retirement plans allowed by the IRS through the CARES Act.

Construction news

The annual repair and rehabilitation plan has been approved, with a focus on facilities and infrastructure repairs and renovations necessary for continued campus operations.
