Indiana University Northwest College of Health and Human Services is proud to host the 2024 Spring Community Wellness Fair.
The health and education fair will take place from 8-11:30 a.m. Saturday, April 20 at IU Northwest’s Savannah Center gymnasium. The fair is open to the public.
Methodist Hospitals, Community HealthNet and Marram Health will be offering free health screenings, including:
- Blood pressure checks
- BMI checks
- Heart attack and stroke risk assessments
- HIV screenings
- Hepatitis C screenings
- Behavioral health screenings
- Dental screenings
- And more
Free blood tests:
- A1C
- Blood Glucose
- Cholesterol, HDL, LDL (12-hour fast required)
- PSA for Men
Free COVID-19 vaccines will also be available.
Attend a health presentation from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. in the Moraine Student Center presented by the Multicultural Wellness Network: Healthy Aging, Anxiety & Healthy Lifestyles.
Workforce development, housing and many other community resources will also be available.
Attendees of the Wellness Fair will receive a free smoothie. Those who receive a vaccine during the event will receive a $25 Strack & VanTil grocery gift card.
Parking is free during the event.
The Savannah Center Gymnasium and Moraine Student Center is located on the north side of the main campus, near 33rd Avenue and Broadway.
