IUPUI Holiday Night

Kick off the holiday season with IUPUI

Nov 30, 2017

Alumni, staff, faculty, students and families are invited to attend IUPUI Holiday Night at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis on Friday, Dec. 8.

For the past 17 years, the Office of Alumni Relations has hosted this merry event to bring together the IUPUI community. Previously held at the Indianapolis Zoo, Holiday Night will consist of many activities and events for the whole family to enjoy together.

“It’s important to create traditions that bring alumni back together,” said Karen Jones, senior director of alumni relations. “It is important to create traditions that bring alumni back together. We want to have opportunities throughout the year to bring them together. “

All five floors of the Children’s Museum will be open, allowing participants to explore the museum after hours, avoiding lines and large crowds. Guests can enjoy the sounds of student carolers and IU School of Medicine musicians, take a ride down the two-story Yule Slide, and even meet Santa Claus. Coloring contests, carousel rides and a food buffet will be part of the festivities as well.

Last year, more than 850 attendees broke out their holiday spirit and enjoyed the night. Grace Gore, a sophomore, attended last year’s event as a caroler for the University Choir. “It was a lot of fun to see all the alumni and little future Jaguars enjoying the holiday music and decorations,” she said.

IUPUI Holiday Night begins at 6:30 p.m. Registration, pricing and additional details are available online.
