IUPUI kicks off campuswide Habitat for Humanity home build

INDIANAPOLIS -- IUPUI continues to celebrate its 50th-anniversary year as a campus by giving back to the immediate community with a new home build in partnership with Habitat for Humanity. For the next two months, faculty, staff and students will work together to build a new home on the near-west side of Indianapolis for Colesta Peppers and her son, Eddie.

As an institution, IUPUI is committed to nurturing partnerships between the campus and the community through engagement, research, education and service. Over the past several years, IUPUI has worked to find meaningful ways to engage on varying levels, from immediate campus neighbors to the entire city of Indianapolis and beyond.
