The biggest game of the regular season for the men’s basketball team. Live halftime entertainment. Free T-shirts and family festivities throughout the game.

Need I say more?

Pull up a chair and let me give you the rundown on IUPUI’s annual winter homecoming game.

It all goes down Jan. 18 at high noon in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, against Horizon League rival UIC. That’s the University of Illinois at Chicago, for those who haven’t been paying attention.

The fun begins before the game starts, with the first 300 attendees receiving a free Adidas T-shirt. This applies to both IUPUI students and the general public, so make sure to arrive early for that sweet, sweet free merchandise.

As if a Division I rivalry matchup weren’t entertaining enough, the halftime show will feature extreme pogo stick artists performing astonishing aerial acrobatics.

The festivities go on, with glitter paint artists, balloon animal twisters and more throughout the game.

This is the biggest sporting event of the year after Regatta, and you don’t want to miss it.

Free shuttles will begin running at 11 a.m. from right outside the Campus Center along University Boulevard. See you there!
